Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fitter/Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components to precise specifications. Your expertise in various welding techniques and mechanical processes will ensure the integrity and quality of our structural products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes
- Perform MCAW/FCAW welding to join metal components with precision and durability
- Use hand tools, power tools and other measuring instruments to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
- Operate machinery such as plasma cutters, and machining equipment for shaping metal parts
- Conduct rigging and crane operations safely when moving heavy materials or assembled structures
- Follow all safety protocols related to welding, rigging, machining,



and general manufacturing practices
- Maintain a clean work area by adhering to housekeeping standards and ensuring equipment inspections are completed regularly

Skills

- Proficiency in MCAW/FCAW welding techniques with a solid understanding of welding safety standards
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery, tools, schematics, and blueprint reading
- Experience with rigging, crane operation, plasma cutting, press brake machines, and machining processes
- Ability to use calipers, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
- Construction or manufacturing experience with ductwork or structural assembly preferred
- Valid forklift certification is a plus for material handling tasks
