Overview

The Store Keeper supports the accurate, timely movement and organization of goods, from receiving deliveries through storage and order fulfillment. This hands-on role helps keep warehouse distribution running smoothly and ensures orders are prepared for dispatch with care.

Duties

- Receive, inspect, sort, and organize donated items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Arrange merchandise on shelves, racks, and displays in an attractive manner.
- Keep the store and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and locating items.
- Monitor inventory movement and report shortages or damaged goods.
- Support pricing, labeling, and merchandising activities.
- Assist with loading and unloading donations and deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store goals.

Qualifications

- Previous retail, warehouse, inventory, or thrift store experience is an asset.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills.




- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

Skills

Required: Basic math, accurate recordkeeping, and careful handling are practical capabilities for tracking stock, checking quantities, and completing order picking and packaging tasks. Preferred: Warehouse experience, warehouse distribution knowledge, and familiarity with a warehouse management system, MRP, AS400, shipping and receiving, e-commerce, or material-handling equipment are advantageous. Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
