Kennedy Mechanical Ltd is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Construction Project Manager in support of our growing portfolio of multi-unit residential and commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will manage mechanical construction type projects valued in the range of $50,000-$5M

Specific Duties

- Works with other project managers, safety representatives, superintendents and tradespeople to execute plumbing and heating contracts
- Estimate, schedule, and plan construction work packages and proposals to customers, in conjunction with Managers and Superintendents
- Supports and enforces all company safety policies and procedures
- Works with Management to implement consistent project management processes, procedures, tools and methods
- Evaluates aspects of project operational costs and works towards reducing costs and expenses where possible without sacrificing safety or quality
- Provides in office project management upon award of contract and day-to-day production support for project issues
- Provide support to all team members by assisting in prioritizing and managing workloads
- Acts as the on-site Company representative with regards to craft issues and adherence to contractual and safety requirements
- Through personal example and leadership, maintains company reputation for outstanding customer service and project quality





Education and/or Relevant Experience

- Post secondary education with a degree in engineering, construction management, civil or related field preferred
- 3+ years of engineering, construction, and/or project management experience on-site
- Gold Seal Certification an asset
- Demonstrable knowledge of commercial plumbing and heating trades and proven experience in both project management and estimating disciplines
- Experience in managing medium-sized projects involving, engineering, mechanical and construction

Candidate Requirements

- Familiarity with mechanical equipment, plumbing codes and regulations
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Must have and maintain a valid New Brunswick driver’s license
- Must be able to work according to our project schedules which may include occasional weekends / after hours.
- Proficient with MS Office programs
- Travel to job sites is a requirement for this role
