Job Summary
We are seeking an individual to fill a role as a jr. project manager. The individual filling this role is an experienced commercial journeyman electrician who would like to shift their career into project management. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a solid understanding of commercial construction. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and demands excellent interpersonal skills with peers and clients.

Responsibilities

- - Develop detailed plans that outline tasks, timelines and resource allocation.
- - Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- - Utilize project management tools such as Procore, Site Docs and Microsoft Office to track progress and manage workflows.
- - Collaborate with engineering teams over the duration of a project to ensure alignment with project goals is met.
- - Monitor budgets, interpret financial reports and adjust plans to meet project objectives.
- - Conduct scheduled meetings with stakeholders and provide updates on project status and actionable items.
- - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, inspection authorities and quality standards throughout a project life cycle.

Requirements

- Journeyman Electrician Certification




- Commercial construction experience
- Developed Interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong analytical abilities with a focus on problem solving and decision making
- A desire to work collaboratively in time sensitive situations
- Manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
