Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Help with cooking duties by following established recipes and safety guidelines to ensure quality and consistency
- Serve food to customers or guests in a timely and friendly manner, maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels or shortages




- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working setting for everyone in the kitchen

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Basic knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and meal preparation techniques
- Ability to serve customers with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Experience with cooking or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail when following recipes, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.60-$17.95 per hour
