Job Summary

The Acupuncturist provides attentive, individualized care, using acupuncture to support patients’ health goals. The role involves understanding patient concerns, explaining treatment clearly, and maintaining a respectful, comfortable care experience.

Duties

- Discuss patient concerns, relevant health history, and treatment goals; explain the proposed approach and answer questions.
- Provide acupuncture treatments with care, monitor patient responses, and adjust the approach based on their needs and feedback.
- Maintain accurate patient records, use medical terminology appropriately, and communicate relevant updates with the care team.
- Follow established hygiene and safety practices, and help patients understand aftercare guidance.

Skills

Required: Patient care skills, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to document treatment accurately and use medical terminology in patient and team interactions. These capabilities support thoughtful treatment planning, safe practice, and responsive care.

Preferred: Hospital experience is an advantage, along with familiarity working collaboratively in a healthcare setting and adapting communication to patients’ questions and needs.

Pay: From $110.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
