We are looking for a passionate and responsible English educator to join our growing teaching team.

Key Responsibilities

1. English Literacy & Writing

- Teach reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and writing.
- Help students develop paragraph structure, essay writing, and analytical writing skills.
- Support elementary and middle school students with academic English.

2. Debate & Critical Thinking

- Teach debate structures, argument development, and persuasive speaking.
- Help students organize their ideas and support opinions with evidence.
- Develop students' public speaking and presentation skills.

3. Student Progress & Communication

- Deliver personalized 1:1 online lessons.
- Prepare lesson plans and customized learning materials.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate with Korean-speaking parents regarding student progress when needed.

Qualifications – Required

- Strong English proficiency with excellent speaking and writing skills.
- Ability to communicate in Korean at a conversational level.
- Experience teaching English, writing,



debate, or public speaking.
- Ability to explain concepts clearly to children and young learners.
- Currently residing in Canada.
- Reliable internet connection and ability to teach online.

Preferred Qualifications

- Degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Ontario teaching certification, TESL/TESOL certification, or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience teaching Canadian elementary or middle school students.
- Experience developing educational materials and lesson plans.
- Experience preparing students for debate competitions or public speaking events.

Position Details

- Part-time, remote position.
- Fully online 1:1 instruction.
- Students primarily in elementary and middle school.
- Availability required on both weekdays and weekends.
- Flexible scheduling based on student availability.
- Compensation: Based on qualifications and teaching experience.
