Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Provider to create a protected, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in early childhood education settings, and possess a genuine passion for fostering developmental growth. This role involves supervising children, planning age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their well-being throughout the day.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor children in a safe and caring workplace
- Plan and implement educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Assist children with daily routines such as lunch time, outside play and walks, reading and free play
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare area to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities




- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing appropriate care
- Foster positive interactions among children to promote social skills and teamwork

Skills

- Prior daycare experience working with young children preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and caregiving best practices
- Solid teaching abilities to facilitate learning through play and structured activities
- Compassionate caregiving skills with patience and understanding
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse needs of children
