Overview

The Registered Dental Assistant supports efficient, patient-focused dental care by assisting with clinical procedures, preparing treatment areas, and helping patients understand what to expect. This role combines attentive chairside support, accurate documentation, and clear communication with patients and the dental team.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies in line with established safety and infection-control procedures.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, support patient comfort, and document care accurately using dental records systems.
- Welcome patients, coordinate appointments, and communicate relevant updates to the clinical team.

Qualifications

Required: Practical dental assisting skills, clear patient communication. The ability to follow clinical safety procedures are essential to supporting daily care. Preferred: Experience with Abeldent or dental software.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 20.0 per week
