About Tracument Solutions Inc.
Tracument is a Canadian SaaS company that develops and maintains a software platform modernizing how Canadian professionals send and receive documents. We pride ourselves on maintaining a casual, collaborative office environment while upholding a serious work ethic. Innovation, accountability, and teamwork are central to how we work and grow.
About the Opportunity
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven Junior Sales Associate to help manage our growing volume of business, strengthen relationships with prospective clients, and identify opportunities to build on our momentum and drive further growth.
We are looking for someone who enjoys B2B sales, is comfortable making cold calls and reaching out to new prospects, and takes ownership of their work. The ideal candidate communicates well, learns quickly, follows through consistently, handles rejection professionally, and can recognize opportunities to grow the business. We can teach you our platform and sales process, but you must bring the initiative, work ethic, and drive to succeed.
What You'll Do
- Develop new business: Identify, research, and engage prospective clients through outbound calls, email outreach, networking, referrals, and other prospecting activities.
- Manage the sales cycle: Move opportunities from initial contact through discovery, demonstrations, follow-up, negotiation, and closing.
- Build lasting relationships: Establish credibility with prospective and existing clients, understand their needs, and develop relationships that extend beyond the initial sale.
- Explain a complex platform: Learn our product in depth and communicate its features, benefits, and practical applications in transparent, compelling language tailored to each audience.
- Sell procedural change: Help professional organizations understand how adopting our platform can support changes to their existing workflows and procedures. This requires thoughtful communication, patience, and the ability to address concerns about changing established practices.
- Maintain the sales pipeline: Use HubSpot to document prospect interactions, manage follow-ups, track opportunities, maintain accurate records, and support a consistent sales process.
- Support client onboarding and retention: Help establish a strong foundation for successful client relationships and identify opportunities for continued engagement and growth.
- Represent the company externally: Attend relevant conferences, industry events, and business and social networking functions particularly during our principal event periods of March–June and September–November.
- Collaborate internally: Work with colleagues to communicate client feedback, improve sales procedures, and ensure prospective clients receive accurate, consistent information.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role focused on generating revenue.
- B2B sales experience is preferred, especially with law firms, professional services, or similar organizations.
- Experience building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Ability to manage sales opportunities, follow up consistently, and keep prospects moving through the sales process.
- Confidence in making cold calls, sending outreach emails, and contacting decision-makers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups.
- Experience using HubSpot to manage the sales pipeline, and record sales activities.
- Ability to understand client needs and explain how a product or service can help their business.
- Initiative, resilience, adaptability, and accountability for results.
- Willingness to attend industry conferences, networking events, and business functions during the periods outlined in this posting.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience selling software, technology platforms, workflow solutions, or other complex B2B products and services.
- Experience working with law firms or organizations with formal, procedure-driven operating environments.
- Familiarity with longer sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, operational considerations, or changes to existing business practices.
- Experience delivering product demonstrations, presenting to skilled audiences,
and tailoring messaging to different decision-makers.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary of $48,000 - $72,000 + commission
- Benefits package.
- Paid vacation.
- The chance to develop professionally as our business and sales operations continue to grow.
The final base salary and overall compensation package will reflect the successful candidate's experience, capabilities, and expected contribution.
Work Arrangement
This is a full-time position that will begin with regular, full-time attendance at our office to support product training, collaboration, and the development of an in-depth understanding of our platform and sales processes.
For a candidate who demonstrates the ability to work independently, maintain strong communication, manage their pipeline effectively, and consistently deliver results, we are open to later transitioning to a hybrid arrangement, generally involving two to three days per week in the office.
We recognize that the right arrangement may vary by individual and role requirements. We are prepared to discuss flexibility based on demonstrated performance, business needs, and the successful candidate's ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
How to Apply
Please submit both your resume, and a cover letter that includes a brief response to the following:
Tell us about a time when you had to generate business or find new customers without being provided with a ready-made list of interested prospects. How did you identify potential customers, decide who to approach, and get the conversation started?
Interviews will be arranged with candidates whose qualifications and experience align with our requirements. We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis and intend to fill the position once we find the right candidate. The posting will remain active until the position has been filled. We do not use artificial intelligence to screen, assess, or select applicants. Applications are reviewed by our team. Only applications submitted through Indeed will be considered. Thank you!
