Our client, a leading international law firm, is looking to add a Mergers & Acquisitions lawyer to its Montreal team.
You will be involved in all stages of M&A; transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of businesses, strategic investments and various corporate transactions.
You will have the prospect to:Participate in transactions involving private and public companiesDraft, review and negotiate purchase and sale agreements as well as various transactional documentsAssist with transaction structuring and due diligenceDraft and negotiate shareholder agreements, investment agreements and other commercial agreementsAdvise clients on legal and commercial matters related to their transactionsCollaborate with specialized teams, including tax,



financing and regulatoryBuild direct relationships with clients and other parties involved in transactionsProfile 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in mergers and acquisitions or transactional corporate lawMember in good standing of the Québec BarExperience drafting and negotiating transactional and commercial agreementsExcellent analytical, drafting and negotiation skillsStrong business judgment and understanding of commercial considerationsAutonomy, attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple prioritiesCollaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skillsFluency in both French and English, written and spokenWhy Consider This Opportunity?
