About the Opportunity

Build a career in industrial B2B sales with Duke’s Metal Industries Ltd., a metal products manufacturer and supplier with warehouse operations in Calgary and Vancouver.

We supply wire, mesh, and related industrial products to business customers. As we expand into oil & gas, mining, and industrial filtration markets, we are looking for a motivated Junior B2B Sales Representative to help identify new customers and develop lasting business relationships.

Previous metal industry experience is not required. We provide product training, prospecting tools, and guidance from management and experienced sales staff.

What You’ll Do

Your initial focus will be researching prospective customers, starting conversations, and identifying genuine purchasing needs.

- Research target companies, applications, and business opportunities.
- Identify buyers, procurement contacts, engineers, and other decision-makers.
- Make outbound calls, send professional sales emails, and follow up consistently.
- Learn about customers’ current suppliers, product requirements, and upcoming projects.
- Gather specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements for quotations.
- Work with management and the sales team to prepare quotations and advance opportunities.
- Maintain accurate contacts, opportunities, and next steps in CRM.
- Participate in product training, sales coaching, and account reviews.
- Support customer visits and presentations as opportunities develop.

As your knowledge and performance grow, you will take greater responsibility for customer accounts and the sales process.

Who We’re Looking For





You do not need years of sales experience, but you should be willing to initiate conversations, handle rejection professionally, and follow through.

- Explicit verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to make cold calls and develop new business.
- Curiosity about industrial products and how customers use them.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and dependable follow-up.
- Comfort using email, spreadsheets, CRM systems, and online research tools.
- Ability to work independently while taking direction and feedback.
- Availability to work full-time at our Calgary office.

Experience in sales, customer service, industrial supply, construction, manufacturing, or a technical environment is an asset.

Compensation & Benefits

- Starting base pay: CAD $22/hour.
- CAD $23/hour after successful completion of the three-month probationary period.
- First-year commission target: CAD $5,000–$15,000, in addition to base pay.

Schedule & Location

- Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Regular schedule of 40 paid hours per week.
- In-person work at Unit 5, 4709 14 St NE, Calgary, AB.
- Customer visits as required.

Our hiring process includes a brief phone conversation and an in-person interview with a short sales exercise. No prior knowledge of our products is needed.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
