Cow-calf operation in Innisfail - Olds - Sundre area looking for an independent farm - ranch hand to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the daily operations of the farm - ranch.

The ideal candidate will have experience in agricultural work and a solid work ethic.

Various responsibilities from livestock handling & welfare, machinery operation, to general farm/ranch duties and maintenance on a cow-calf herd & beef cattle production operation.

Responsibilities:

- Calving
- Monitor livestock and herd health
- Cattle handling
- Feeding and watering cattle
- Daily upkeep and general maintenance of livestock and working areas
- Record keeping of herd health and feed inventory
- Fencing

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 52.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Alberta: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Farming: 3 years (required)
- Farm machinery: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
