Job Description
- Maintain, inspect and operate a Power Plant including boilers, combustion controls, water softeners, refrigeration equipment and roof top units.
- Operate a fire alarm system and be familiar with fire plan procedures
- Perform daily inspections throughout the hospital
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on wheeled equipment including beds, stretchers and wheelchairs
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment including commercial dishwasher, garbeurator and pot washer.
- Complete plumbing repairs to sinks, toilets and hoppers.
- Permorm some external work including snow removal, sanding and grounds keeping as needed
- Participate in “on call” rotation and be on site within 40 minutes
- Other duties as assigned
