The majority of responsibilities for this position will pertain to manufacturing, this will include accurate weighing, processing, loading material and batching of material, quality control and packaging. Other responsibilities will include assisting in yard and retail operations, general plant and equipment maintenance.

This position requires someone with attention to detail, diligence and excellent colour perception. This position also requires heavy lifting (up to 42 Kg) and a full-face respirator must be worn for a large portion of the day. Must be able to think on your feet, work independently as well as being a team player. Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions.

Responsibilities:

- Staging material for production.
- Loading material
- Operating large mixers and other equipment
- Accurate weighing of powder materials manually




- Checking and correcting colour in product batches
- Loading and offloading trucks
- General Housekeeping

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of colour development an asset
- Strong math skills an asset
- Strong communication skills an asset
- Solid organizational skills an asset
- Experience with fork lifts and/or reach trucks required
- Experience with hand and power tools an asset
- Familiarity with weigh scales an asset

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
