As a Sheet Metal Worker / HVAC Duct Installer, you’ll help install and fit ductwork by following project plans, coordinating tasks, and completing careful on-site work. Your work helps colleagues deliver organized, dependable construction and installation projects.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand duct layouts, measurements, and installation details.
- Use hand tools to measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork.
- Coordinate installation tasks with other trades and keep work areas orderly.
Skills
Required:
- Practical hand-tool skills, blueprint and schematic reading, and the ability to measure, fit,
and install ductwork carefully are important for completing assigned work and coordinating with colleagues.
Preferred:
- Construction experience is helpful, along with familiarity with plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, or restoration work. These related skills can support smooth coordination across varied project tasks.
Pay: $21.41-$47.59 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
