Job Summary

Unity Recruitments looking for a detail-oriented Order Picker / Packer ( General Labour) to join our team in preparing pre-made food orders for delivery. This is a part-time position to start, with the potential for hours to grow based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately pick, pack, and organize pre-made food orders based on delivery invoices.
- Work efficiently inside a cold storage environment (refrigerator/freezer temperatures ranging from -12°C to -17°C).
- Inspect items to ensure quality standards and accurate quantities are met before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with food safety standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Attention to Detail: Absolute accuracy is required to ensure clients receive the correct food items.
- Cold Tolerance:



Must be comfortable and capable of working a full shift in temperatures between -12°C and -17°C (appropriate thermal gear/layers required).
- Physical Stamina: Able to stand, walk, and lift packages for the duration of the shift.
- Reliability: Dependable transportation and consistent punctuality for scheduled shifts.

Experience

Required: Practical ability to follow order details, handle products carefully, perform order picking, and load and unload goods; sound awareness of safe warehouse equipment operation and heavy lifting practices is significant.

Pay: $17.60-$17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 19.0 per week
