Support bobsled and luge track preparation at WinSport while leading icehouse work and testing timing systems. The schedule includes cold conditions and occasional overnight work.

As an Ice Technician, you will help install ice surfaces, prepare tracks, and direct part time icehouse team members. The position combines arena operations, ice quality control, facility maintenance, and safety compliance. You will document daily pre-use inspections before sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with and lead bobsled and luge track preparation
- Direct part time team members assisting in the icehouse
- Install and remove ice surfaces, lines, and logos
- Test and troubleshoot track timing systems
- Participate in emergency procedures, including ammonia protocols

Requirements:

- Minimum one year of arena ice-making experience
- Experience operating Olympia or LVR resurfacers is an asset
- Understanding of ammonia refrigeration safety protocols
- Leadership skills directing part-time team members
- Forklift or aerial work platform experience is an asset
