Overview

As an Event Security Guard, you help create a protected, orderly environment for guests, event staff, and performers. You remain alert, communicate calmly, and respond professionally to concerns while supporting a welcoming event experience. Your work helps guests enjoy the event and enables colleagues to focus on smooth operations.

Responsibilities

- Monitor entrances, public areas, and event spaces to identify safety concerns and unusual activity.
- Observe activity, report concerns, and support timely responses.
- Assist with crowd flow, provide clear directions, and address disruptions calmly and respectfully.
- Apply loss prevention awareness, document incidents accurately, and coordinate with event colleagues or law enforcement when appropriate.

Experience

Required: Practical observation, clear communication, sound judgment,



and accurate incident reporting help you monitor activity and respond appropriately in a busy event setting. Preferred: Experience in event security, surveillance, loss prevention, CCTV monitoring, or law enforcement can strengthen your ability to recognize concerns and work effectively with guests and colleagues.

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
