Position: Cabinet Installer Supervisor

Work Hours: 30 hours/week

Wage: $38.50/h

Key duties and Responsibilities

· Supervise, coordinate and schedule the daily activities of installation workers, helpers and subcontractors involved in installing prefabricated products at residential and commercial properties.

· Establish work methods and installation schedules to meet project deadlines and coordinate activities with other subcontractors.

· Monitor installation activities, identify workmanship and quality issues, and recommend corrective measures to improve productivity and the quality of completed work.

· Resolve installation-related work problems, coordinate corrective actions and communicate required modifications to the manufacturing shop or relevant departments.

· Coordinate the availability of materials, supplies, tools and equipment required to complete installation projects according to established schedules.





· Review project specifications and work orders to establish installation procedures and coordinate work assignments among installation personnel.

· Coordinate work activities with installers and subcontractors to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure the timely completion of installation projects.

· Prepare and maintain work progress reports, documenting installation status, labour allocation, material requirements and project-related issues.

· Train workers in job duties, installation procedures, safety practices and company policies.

· Evaluate workers' performance and recommend personnel actions, including hiring, reassignment or promotion, where applicable.

· Monitor compliance with workplace safety procedures and company policies and communicate corrective requirements to installation personnel.

· Supervise and coordinate the activities of installers, helpers and labourers, allocate daily assignments and monitor completion of assigned work.

Requirements/Education and other requirements

· Completion of secondary school is usually required

· Minimum 3 years of experience in the cabinet installation or closely related installation work experience are usually required

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and installation specifications is required

· Applicant needs to be fluent in English
