About the opportunity

A leader in the telecommunications industry in Saskatchewan is seeking a Solutions Manager – Professional Services to lead its professional services portfolio. This is a business and operational leadership role focused on developing, commercializing, and growing customer services. The successful candidate will work with customers, sales teams, and partners to shape service offerings and coordinate the resources needed to deliver customer engagements.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the professional services portfolio, including service development, product management, go-to-market direction, and portfolio planning. [
- Identify customer and market opportunities and develop scalable, commercially viable services.
- Work with customers to understand their needs and explore service opportunities, including trials or prototypes where appropriate.
- Partner with sales and business development teams to support customer engagement, service positioning, and go-to-market execution.
- Coordinate internal resources and external consultants or service partners to meet customer engagement requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners, vendors, and consultants; negotiate and manage partner arrangements as needed.
- Monitor portfolio performance, contribute to business cases and financial planning, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Lead, coach, and support professionals and cross-functional teams.
- Help ensure services meet customer needs and applicable business, operational, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

- Executive customer engagement experience

Tier 2 — Strongly Preferred

- Operational leadership
- Consulting or professional services background
- Technology industry experience
- P&L; responsibility

Tier 3 — Nice To Have

- Deep technical specialization
- Prior telecom experience
- Saskatchewan market knowledge

Education and experience

A bachelor’s degree or technical designation, along with six years of extensive technical experience in a related field. Examples include:

- P.Eng.
- I.S.P. / ITCP
- CCNA / CCNP
- MCSE
- FCP
- Network+
- Security+

A combination of related technical experience and education may be considered.

Compensation and benefits
