We are currently hiring for an experienced Assembler for the day and afternoon shift- for our client in Mississauga, that is responsible for the assembly of panels and fixtures components

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience in Manufacturing or shop work (Custom production)
- Robust mechanical aptitude
- At least 2 years of experience in assembly work
- Proficient and able to use power tools
- Experience working with quality finishes preferred
- Certification or training in mechanical, carpentry an asset
- Proficiency with reading drawings
- Medium to highly detail-oriented Able to lift up to 50lbs (assisted if needed)

Job Description:

- Build and assemble parts and operating panels in accordance with mechanical drawings and instructions
- Understand and correctly interpret mechanical drawings
- Apply close visual attention to product appearance in accordance with standards for finishes




- Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently.
- Complete work within expected periods of time.
- Minimize scrap through diligence and planning
- Open communication with various interdepartmental personnel
- Demonstrate low absenteeism and punctuality
- Complete shop records accurately and comprehensively

Working Hours: Days (7AM-4:30PM MON-THURS) AND (FRIDAY 7AM-3:30PM)

Afternoons ( 4:30pm to 1:00am MON-THURS) AND (FRIDAY 4:30PM TO 12:00) - Training on Days

Pay: $22.00-$25.30 per hour
