Job Summary

As a Carpet Installer, you’ll prepare spaces and install flooring with care and attention to detail. You’ll use practical tools and construction skills to complete work neatly, helping customers enjoy durable, well-finished floors.

Duties

- Measure and prepare work areas, review blueprints, and plan installation steps.
- Install carpet and other flooring, including tile where needed; use hand tools and carpentry techniques to achieve accurate fits.
- Apply caulking, finish edges, and check completed work for a clean, secure result.
- Keep the work area organized and coordinate with colleagues to support smooth project progress.

Experience

Required: Practical ability to use hand tools, measure and prepare surfaces, and carry out flooring installation tasks safely and accurately. Attention to detail and the ability to follow blueprints support precise fitting and reliable finishes. Preferred: Construction experience, tile laying, carpentry, caulking, or handyman experience can strengthen your contribution and help you adapt to varied installation tasks.

Pay: $19.15-$38.44 per hour
