Our established, non-corporate, west end office is looking for an enthusiastic, registered dental hygienist to join our team! We are offering 4-5 days per week (no weekends), and can be flexible with hours. We offer free on-site parking, full health benefits and a supportive, drama free environment. This is for a 1 year maternity leave with the option to extend or become permanent.

Licence/Certification:

-license to practice hygiene in Ontario (required)

Work Location: In person

Responsibilities:

- Assess patients’ oral health, document findings, and communicate relevant observations to the dental team.
- Provide preventive hygiene care, explain home-care practices, and tailor guidance to each patient’s needs.
- Prepare treatment areas, maintain organized records, and follow established infection-control and patient-care procedures.
- Support a welcoming visit by answering questions, coordinating with colleagues, and helping patients understand next steps.

Required:



Practical patient-care skills, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to document accurately and work collaboratively are essential to delivering secure, organized hygiene care. Preferred: Dental office experience, customer service, Dentrix, medical terminology, dental assisting, orthodontics, pediatrics, and bilingual communication are valuable strengths. Your impact: Clear guidance and reliable documentation help patients make informed decisions and help colleagues coordinate consistent care.

Pay: $48.00-$65.00 per hour
