DMC Recruitment is partnering with an established and highly respected Canadian general contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager - Municipal Infrastructure to join its Calgary team.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of municipal and critical infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater facilities, bridges, and other essential civil infrastructure.

You will be responsible for managing projects from planning through completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage infrastructure construction projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Oversee project budgets, cost controls, schedules, and accurate monthly financial forecasting.
- Take ownership of project delivery, financial performance, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, designers, site superintendents, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.




- Coordinate and support project teams to ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements and project specifications.
- Build strong relationships with clients and project partners while maintaining clear and effective communication.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and solutions-oriented project environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve project efficiencies, processes, and overall delivery.

What You Bring

- 6+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, municipal infrastructure, water/wastewater, bridges, or related civil construction projects.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in a lead project management capacity with a mid-sized to large general contractor.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated success managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong leadership skills and a hands-on, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, accountable mindset with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
