Field Service Technician

We're seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join a premier technical service team supporting some of the world's most advanced high-frequency induction welding systems and high-speed mechanical equipment.

What You'll Do

- Travel to customer sites to install, start up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sophisticated industrial equipment
- Diagnose a wide range of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system interconnects
- Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to evaluate equipment performance and capture circuit board readings
- Resolve integrated electrical and mechanical system challenges
- Document findings, communicate solutions, and provide detailed service reports to engineering and management teams
- Represent a world-class organization with professionalism and technical expertise while working directly with customers

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent




- Authorized to work permanently in the United States

Preferred Experience & Skills

- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (50-100%)
- Solid experience with industrial equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and proficiency reading electrical schematics
- Experience using oscilloscopes and multimeters for troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Understanding of machine design, integration, and industrial automation systems
- Familiarity with PLCs, motor drives, and industrial controls
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present technical findings and recommendations to engineering, management, and executive stakeholders
- Self-motivated, persistent, and proactive problem solver with a "can-do" attitude
