COMMERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT - VARIOUS LOCATIONS

We are seeking 1 - 2 dynamic & skilled Arc Welders. The ideal candidate(s) will be motivated, detail-oriented & eager to apply their technical skills in a quick-paced environment to join our team & contribute to the construction of structural steel, & other metal components.

DUTIES

Read & interpret blueprints, schematics, & technical drawings to accurately assemble and install steel & other metal structures. Perform various welding to join steel components with precision and accuracy. Utilize hand tools & power tools. Measure materials & perform math calculations to ensure accurate fabrication dimensions. Assemble structural steel frameworks, or other metal assemblies according to project specifications. Maintain a clean work environment by following safety protocols & inspecting equipment regularly for proper operation.

EXPERIENCE





Must have 2-3 years experience - Welder Trade Red Seal Certification

Level Three Apprenticeship may apply

Required - WHMIS Certification, Fall Arrest Protection Training

Basic Security Check, Willing to travel to various job sites

VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE IS REQUIRED. Company vehicle used to and from job sites

Proven experience in construction and/or manufacturing environments involving structural steel. Strong mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation. Skilled in ARC welding techniques.

Knowledge of safety standards related to welding & working at heights a must.
