Own the Quality Program. Inspire Your Team. Drive Results.

Bring your manufacturing quality expertise to a leadership role where you can see the impact of your decisions—from stronger processes on the production floor to better product performance and customer satisfaction.

We’re seeking a Quality Assurance Manager who combines technical knowledge with a practical, hands-on leadership style. You’ll take ownership of the plant’s quality program, develop your QA team, and partner with Engineering, Operations, and plant leadership to solve problems and deliver lasting improvements.

If you enjoy turning data into action, coaching employees, and building quality into every stage of manufacturing, this is an opportunity to make your mark.

Your Impact

- Lead and develop your team. Oversee hiring, training, performance and compensation reviews, and corrective actions while building accountability and supporting employee growth.

- Own the plant’s quality systems. Maintain the Quality Management System and ISO 9001:2015 certification, supporting compliance with applicable CSA, ASTM, Factory Mutual, NSF, and other industry standards.

- Lead audit readiness and execution. Manage internal audits, coordinate customer and regulatory audits, and facilitate the annual Quality Management Review.

- Build quality into every production stage. Establish testing and inspection requirements from incoming materials through final shipment,

maintaining inspection setups in IQMS and related systems.

- Turn quality issues into lasting improvements. Lead investigations into customer complaints, supplier concerns, product failures, and nonconformances. Identify root causes, implement corrective and preventive actions, and verify effectiveness.

- Guide product disposition. Lead Material Review Board meetings and oversee decisions involving nonconforming materials and products.

- Use data to improve performance. Analyze quality trends and KPIs, identify recurring defects, and lead initiatives that strengthen consistency and reduce quality risks.

- Maintain reliable testing capabilities. Oversee laboratory equipment, calibration, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GRR).

- Partner on product and process improvements. Collaborate with Engineering and Operations on validation, statistical verification, and change control.

- Keep compliance documentation accurate. Coordinate certification sample submissions and prepare material test reports, compliance certificates, and management reports.

- Strengthen quality knowledge across the plant. Train employees on procedures, customer requirements, problem-solving tools, and continuous improvement practices.

- Contribute beyond your department. Manage QA supplies and services cost-effectively, share best practices across manufacturing locations,

and support a protected workplace.

What You Bring
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field.

- At least 5 years of relevant manufacturing and quality experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

- Previous supervisory or management experience, with the ability to coach employees, set clear expectations, and hold teams accountable.

- Working knowledge of—and formal training in ISO 9001:2015 and internal auditing.

- Experience with MSA, Statistical Process Control (SPC), root-cause analysis, Lean, and continuous improvement practices.

- Knowledge of applicable industry and product standards.

- Strong analytical skills and a practical approach to resolving manufacturing quality challenges.

- Clear communication, strong organization, and the ability to build productive relationships across departments.

- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with experience using a fully integrated ERP system.

Why This Role Stands Out
- Meaningful ownership: Shape the plant’s quality program and influence measurable results.

- People leadership: Develop a QA team and strengthen quality awareness throughout the operation.

- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with plant leadership, Engineering, and Operations.

- Broader impact: Contribute ideas and share best practices across multiple manufacturing locations.

- Competitive compensation
