The Activation Aide is a critical position within Maple Grove Community, part of Sienna Senior Living. You will coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate programs for Long Term Care residents, including groups and special events. The work includes resident assessments, goals, interventions, care plans, attendance records, progress notes, and quarterly reviews. You will also connect residents with therapy programs and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate, plan, communicate, and evaluate resident programs
- Facilitate small groups, large groups, and special events
- Complete resident assessments, goals, and interventions




- Document attendance, progress notes, care plans, and quarterly reviews
- Collaborate with pet, music, and art therapy programs

Requirements:

- Post-secondary recreation, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, or related education
- Equivalent experience working with seniors may be considered
- Current Standard or Emergency First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate
- Program planning, documentation, and evaluation experience required
