This Registered Nurse position serves diverse acute medical patients in a 48-bed unit at Quinte Health’s largest hospital. You will collaborate with an interprofessional team, maintain nursing records, follow regulatory standards, and contribute to quality improvement. The role also includes teaching patients and families and completing required professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide assessment, treatment, teaching, and education
- Exercise judgement in specialized acute medical patient care
- Document nursing care according to College standards
- Follow legislation, hospital policies,



and professional standards
- Support secure workplace practices and quality initiatives

Requirements:

- Registration in good standing with Ontario’s nursing college
- Valid BCLS or CPR certificate, or recertification enrolment
- Coronary Care 1 or equivalent, or obtain within six months
- Capacity for physically demanding work requirements
- Satisfactory Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector screening
