Support addiction recovery at The Alex in Calgary through evidence-based therapies and trauma-informed care within a multidisciplinary team. This permanent, full-time position serves complex client needs. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will support clients experiencing substance use concerns and mental, physical, and social complexities. The work includes assessments, individualized service plans, therapeutic encounters, and collaboration with families and community partners. Provide evidence-based mental health and substance abuse therapies Offer culturally sensitive, same-day, and group programming Collaborate with clients, families, and community partners Complete documentation and assist with data collection Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field Minimum two years of Mental Health Clinician experience Basic or Intermediate First Aid, Level C CPR and AED Apply clinical judgment, evidence-based treatment, and cooperative communication supporting clients through addiction and mental health complexities.
