Bourgault is looking for a motivated engineering student with a passion for agriculture to join our Production Engineering team You will be responsible for assisting with planning and implementation of process improvements and lean project initiatives to increase production efficiencies. Manage projects aimed at improving process flow while optimizing space, quality, safety, and ergonomics Develop, maintain, and support a continuous improvement culture using lean tools, focusing on the elimination of waste while striving to provide increased value to our customers, both internal and external Gauge production performance, identify bottlenecks and suggest/implement changes as required Design processes or tooling to improve safety, quality, productivity or cost issues Currently enrolled in an Engineering program (mechanical/industrial focus is preferred) Solid computer skills, including experience with Microsoft office and 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
Knowledge of lean manufacturing Experience in the manufacturing industry would be an asset Willing to (temporarily) relocate to St. Competitive, performance-based pay.
