Use SAP, advanced Excel, and vendor management skills as an Accounts Payable Lead with Hitachi Rail Canada Inc. in Toronto. The full time work arrangement is hybrid.

Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this 12-month fixed-term position supervises invoice processing and payment runs. You will maintain vendor master data, support payment scheduling, and complete reconciliations. The work also includes process implementation, internal controls, and communication with Buyers, Quality, Treasury, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and cleanse SAP vendor master data
- Run vendor master data reports upon request
- Process third-party, intercompany, and expense payments
- Complete supplier statement and balance sheet reconciliations
- Document procedures and support process changes

Requirements:

- University degree in Accounting and Accounts Payable
- Five years of computerized accounting experience required
- Large accounting software experience, preferably SAP
- Excellent Excel knowledge, including advanced functions
- Ability to organize workload under deadline pressure
