Keep Mitchell Plastics shipments moving overnight as a Logistics Shipper in Kitchener, using forklift skills, scan guns, and careful documentation.
This full time, on-site position reports to the Logistics Supervisor and supports shipping operations from Sunday night through Thursday night. You will pick orders, prepare and palletize shipments, maintain customer-supplied packaging, and track packaging receipts and expendables. Organization and cooperation are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and palletize shipments to customer requirements
- Prepare accurate shipping documentation for outgoing orders
- Use scan guns when picking shipment orders
- Maintain clean, organized finished goods areas
- Track customer packaging receipts and expendable use
Requirements:
- Forklift experience required
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred by description
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to move between shifts when required
