Aerospace quality expertise meets hands-on inspection at Aversan Inc., with a full-time, in office Mechanical Inspector assignment in Montreal, Quebec.

This evening-shift position supports Aversan’s safety-critical electronics and software systems serving aerospace, defence, and space industries. The successful candidate brings mechanical inspection experience, manufacturing quality knowledge, and the ability to interpret technical requirements. Responsibilities span incoming inspection, assemblies, coatings, connections, and investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect machined components against drawings, specifications, and standards
- Check painted and plated components, including adhesion and plating reports
- Examine connector retention, wire tension, and cable continuity




- Interpret geometric tolerances and perform trigonometric measurement calculations
- Support quality investigations, documentation, authorized rework, and production activities

Requirements:

- Relevant DEC, DVS, or recognized equivalent qualification
- Two to five years in manufacturing or mechanical inspection
- Ability to interpret drawings, technical plans, and work instructions
- Understanding of quality procedures and non-conformance resolution
- Precision measurement experience with fine manual dexterity
