Support children and youth through secure gymnastics instruction, accurate feedback, and inclusive programming at the District of Saanich’s recreation centre.

As an Instructor I - Gymnastics, you will work within the Recreation Division at Gordon Head Recreation Centre. You will deliver assigned programs under a Recreation Programmer or Program Technician. Your focus includes direct instruction, class content, participant welcome, and program organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct instruction for assigned gymnastics programs
- Lead engaging classes for varying ages and abilities
- Prepare equipment and organize class spaces
- Welcome participants and offer accurate feedback
- Keep program areas organized, clean, and safe

Requirements:

- Grade 10 completion
- Three months’ experience in related instruction
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector check
- Emergency First Aid and CPR-C may be required
- Ability to work primarily Saturday shifts
