Support compassionate patient care as a Laboratory Assistant with Dynacare, delivering reassuring service while collecting specimens and completing testing procedures. Work part time.

This 18-month contract guarantees 15 hours weekly, with day shifts Monday through Saturday. You will help create a best-in-class patient experience, especially during stressful visits. Your responsibilities include phlebotomy, ECGs, specimen collections, confidential information handling, and quality compliance across float locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create positive patient experiences around services and testing
- Manage anxious patients calmly during specimen collection
- Perform ECGs and complete Holter hookups
- Sort and steer suitable and unsuitable specimens




- Maintain confidential information securely and support quality metrics

Requirements:

- Customer-focused approach with genuine care for patients
- Laboratory Assistant training or Medical Lab Assistance course
- Specialized phlebotomy training and demonstrated skill
- Clear written and verbal English communication
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage deadlines
