This Heavy Duty Mechanic role supports Falcon Equipment customers through equipment installation, assembly, maintenance, repair, and testing. The focus includes truck-mounted cranes, snow and ice equipment, and rail equipment. Candidates may bring related heavy-duty, hydraulic, automotive, marine, crane, elevator, or millwright experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install customer equipment
- Perform maintenance on various heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic equipment systems
- Test truck-mounted cranes and rail equipment
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Three or more years of related installation or maintenance experience
- Solid mechanical skills and schematic-reading ability
- Hydraulic and electrical knowledge
- Ability to work independently around heavy equipment
- Own tools and welding experience considered an asset
