As Nutrien’s temporary, 12-month Coordinator, Leaves, you will manage leave administration from system entry through return-to-work coordination. Reporting to the Benefits Administration Manager, you will help ensure accurate pay, benefits, and pension support while interpreting applicable legislation, policies, and union agreements. Your work supports employees, managers, and internal HR teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and pension during employee leaves
- Audit leave data and develop processes supporting data integrity
- Interpret collective agreements and leave entitlement requirements
- Collaborate with Payroll, Advantages,
and HR Business Partners
- Maintain documentation, training materials, and key metric reporting
Requirements:
- At least one year administering leaves, preferably nationally or globally
- Strong understanding of Canadian leave legislation and practices
- Union collective bargaining agreement experience is an asset
- High attention to detail in high-volume environments
- Ability to prioritize urgent payroll and operational requests
