As Senior Analyst, Energy Markets, you will develop market assumptions and price forecasts for assigned North American power markets. The work covers energy, capacity, ancillary services, environmental products, asset revenues, and gross margins. You will translate complex dynamics into recommendations for senior leadership and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and defend electricity market assumptions and forecasts
- Assess supply, demand, fuel, emissions, policy, and CONE impacts
- Project asset gross margins and support dispatch analysis
- Monitor regulatory and market design developments
- Design market dashboards for company-wide consumption
Requirements:
- Five-plus years across North American power and gas markets
- Demonstrated wholesale fundamental price forecasting experience
- Strong understanding of power markets and regulatory frameworks
- Advanced Excel, Python, quantitative, and financial modeling skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and executive presentation abilities
