Structural analysis and rehabilitation are central to this Senior Structural Engineer prospect with EXP’s Ontario Transportation team. Work across several Ontario locations.
This Senior Bridge Engineer role supports new structures, inspections, evaluations, and rehabilitation of existing structures. You will prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, estimates, and quantity take-offs while assisting construction administration. The position requires civil engineering education, relevant experience, and familiarity with structural analysis software, Bentley MicroStation, and MS Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with inspections and condition assessments of structures
- Perform structural analysis and design calculations
- Prepare plan drawings and construction details
- Assist with construction specifications and project administration
- Review shop drawings and requests for information
Requirements:
- Four to eight years of relevant engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- P.Eng designation obtained or obtainable soon
- OSIM bridge inspection experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
