This Strategic Researcher position sits within TIMC, CSE’s government research institute. Researchers contribute to the Mathematical Foundations of Cryptography area through deep theory and computational work. The position includes research leadership, program development, and collaboration with colleagues, CSE teams, and international partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop research projects supporting TIMC’s strategic focus
- Design and evaluate novel cryptanalytic methods
- Lead research teams and supervise junior researchers
- Establish programs and achieve key project milestones




- Track developments and guide decision-makers

Requirements:

- Original research demonstrated through publications, presentations, or code
- Experience with cryptologic applications or computational algorithms
- Experience leading teams or supervising researchers
- Experience executing research programs and strategic planning
- Canadian citizenship and Enhanced Top Secret clearance
