This Senior Electrical Engineer position combines detailed design with project collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. You will work with low- and medium-voltage equipment, industrial automation protocols, electrical studies, and construction services. The role also includes proposals, design reports, specifications, client meetings, and coordination with utilities and manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications using equipment data
- Perform arc flash, short-circuit, and coordination studies
- Conduct site surveys and complete condition assessments
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and technical challenges
- Facilitate design and construction team collaboration
Requirements:
- 10+ years of industrial electrical consulting design experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- P.Eng. designation in Alberta or British Columbia
- Knowledge of Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP, or DeviceNet
- Familiarity with applicable codes and engineering standards
