SolidWorks and manufacturing expertise meet in this Industrial Project Engineer role, coordinating custom parts from design through delivery. The position is based on the North Shore.
Reporting to management, you will lead manufacturing projects while linking clients, engineering, and production teams. Your work includes reviewing technical requirements, developing or validating 3D models, planning shop-floor execution, and monitoring progress. Manufacturing process knowledge supports project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review plans, quotations, and client technical requirements
- Develop or validate three-dimensional drawings and models
- Propose optimization solutions for custom manufacturing projects
- Coordinate resources, schedules,
and production stages
- Prepare technical documents and project progress reports
Requirements:
- Five years in project management, manufacturing, or industry
- Mechanical Engineering bachelor's degree
- SolidWorks or equivalent CAD proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- French communication skills; English considered an asset
