This Mechanical Engineer role supports custom conveyor systems, stackers, shiploaders, and related equipment. EMS-Tech Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer with mechanical component sizing expertise and a commitment to innovation. You will influence designs, develop analysis methods, and support project specifications, schedules, and budgeted hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop equipment and system conceptual designs
- Use mechanical modelling and analysis techniques
- Establish task scope, specifications, schedules, and hours
- Verify modelling through basic manual methods
- Maintain drawing presentation and intellectual property standards
Requirements:
- Engineering or Applied Science bachelor’s degree
- Qualified Engineering licence in Ontario or other jurisdiction
- Eight to twenty years industry-specific experience
- Mechanical component sizing and selection experience
- Knowledge of conveyor design standards is an asset
