Support Alberta’s social programs through contract analysis, procurement, and performance monitoring in a full-time remote position with the Alberta Public Service.

Reporting to the Manager, the Contract and Business Analysis Specialist supports agreements and operations within Assisted Living and Social Services. You will assess requirements, program information, financial data, operational details, risks, and service gaps. Your recommendations help clarify outcomes, deliverables, performance measures, and agreement requirements for responsive services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather and validate requirements from program areas and stakeholders
- Monitor contract performance, compliance, risks, and opportunities
- Translate stakeholder needs into deliverables and agreement requirements




- Research issues and conduct environmental scanning activities
- Support ongoing improvement of services, processes, and agreements

Requirements:

- Degree in social sciences, social work, business, economics, or related field
- Four years of progressively responsible related experience
- Knowledge of legislation, policy, procurement, and contract administration
- Robust communication and relationship-management skills
- Ability to develop evidence-based recommendations
