Support long-term care residents as a Clinical Director of Care with evidence-based practice knowledge and an active clinical presence.

The Clinical Director of Care reports to the Director of Care and helps provide overall resident care and services. The full-time, in office position coordinates quality initiatives, coaches nursing teams, supports RAI-MDS implementation, and promotes compliance with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain an active presence in resident home areas
- Mentor nursing teams in quality resident care
- Address resident and family concerns promptly
- Support recruitment, retention, and performance management
- Conduct clinical chart and quality indicator reviews

Requirements:

- Registered Nurse certificate of competence or equivalent Canadian registration
- Comprehensive long-term care knowledge
- Comprehensive evidence-based clinical practice knowledge
- Previous long-term care managerial or floor nursing experience
- Ability to motivate, lead, and support team members
