This Project Procurement Specialist serves on the Services or Construction team within Alberta Infrastructure. The Specialist provides procurement strategy advice and maintains templates aligned with ministry and Government of Alberta requirements. Responsibilities span project approval to contract award, supporting efficient processes, fair evaluations, and effective procurement service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guide consultants and managers on specifications, templates, forms, and guidelines
- Develop project-specific solicitation and contract documentation
- Coordinate scoring, bidder clarifications, and proposal irregularity investigations




- Maintain master specifications and procurement templates for requirements
- Serve as solicitation-period contact and coordinate bid distribution

Requirements:

- Relevant university degree in business, commerce, arts, science, architecture, engineering, or construction technology
- Two years’ relevant procurement experience
- Strong Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat expertise
- Proficiency grasping concepts and communicating them effectively
- Effective relationships with directors, managers, consultants, and bidders
