As Manager, Business Automation, you will lead automation across Sun Life Global Investments business functions. This working-level people leader manages the Automation Analyst while setting direction and owning results. You will clarify business needs, assess data dependencies and feasibility, and align specifications with governance and delivery controls. The position requires Python, SQL, Power Automate, Microsoft 365, AWS, and approved AI developer tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clarify needs, dependencies, constraints, and estimated effort
- Validate feasibility against Keel and approved source systems
- Coach and develop less experienced team members




- Implement logging, monitoring, documentation, and escalation paths
- Manage stakeholder scope, progress, adoption barriers, and support

Requirements:

- Six to ten years of automation or solutions delivery experience
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, Power Automate, Microsoft 365, and AWS
- Ability to build trust and manage expectations
- Experience supporting technical staff is preferred
- Awareness of data governance practices is preferred
