Advance health workforce strategy through policy development, complex analysis, and strategic recommendations for Alberta’s Primary and Preventative Health Services ministry.

As a Senior Policy and Project Advisor, you will support health workforce planning and policy development. The role analyzes workforce-related issues, coordinates priority initiatives, and develops responses aligned with ministry and government priorities. Collaboration with subject matter experts, project teams, and stakeholders supports coordinated delivery across Alberta’s health system.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze complex and emerging policy issues
- Develop strategic responses and recommendations for senior leadership
- Coordinate project teams, milestones, and deliverables




- Lead sensitive files and stakeholder engagement
- Identify policy implications across ministry priorities

Requirements:

- Related university degree or equivalent education and experience
- Four years of related progressive experience
- Policy analysis and strategic recommendation experience
- Experience working collaboratively in changing environments
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred
